Believe it or not PC, this principle even applies to the staff in local government, that we need to grant consent for our projects. Many are corrupt, or borderline - but give them the opportunity and motivation to not be corrupt, and often they'll take it.
Indeed. I do need to be reminded of that. And to be reminded often.
