News? Media? The joke’s on them.

Comedian Russell Brand finds it difficult to have a real conversation going on an MSNBC “talk show,” so ends up instead pointing out the triviality of  the modern TV “news” interview.

"Look beyond the superficial, that's the problem with current affairs, you forget about what's important … don't think about what I'm wearing, these things are redundant, superficial…”

Says my Facebook friend Paul McKeever who pointed me to it:

This video has been mis-titled. Brand was excellent, whereas the three people on the MSNBC "Morning Joe" journalistic team were rude, ignorant, and - especially with respect to the woman in the blue dress - seemingly mentally ill...in fact, she says as much. Brand deserved better. Unfortunately, this is probably all he'll find.

Russell avoids the croc that he's only too happy to feed, just so long as it's not him that is on the menu.
