Christian Enzensberger started his 'classic' book Smut by declaring ""There are twenty-five forms of excretion known to man." He should have added, "Man's twenty-sixth excretion is politicians."  After all, he likes filth.

In this vein, you might be interested to know what Labour brains thinks of labour hire companies -- those people who help businesses to smooth out the demand and supply of labour to ensure productivity when it's needed.  Says Labour's client blog, 'The Standard': "labour hire companies are scum."

"Scum"!  Revealing, don't you think?

This of course is just a specific view of which Labour's Hunua candidate has the general statement: "I wouldn’t go into business if my life depended on it.  I find trade immoral."

This is the ilk that's considered the future of the Labour Party.  As Cicero used to say, "politicians aren't born, they are excreted."

If real workers are 'scum', what does that make parasites aka govt 'workers'? Moral?

Hi, George Orwell! You're a bit late, but it finally happened. Moral now means immoral and vice versa.

"politicians aren't born, they are excreted."

You may be alarmed to hear that Wikipedia lists you as a politician.

Indeed I would be alarmed ... if it weren't Wikipedia.

I just can't understand the immorality in voluntarily agreeing to find work for someone else in voluntary exchange for a share of the wages.

George Orwell is proof that not all socialists are statists. Just most of them.

Peter. With you being an Objectivist I'd have thought you'd be interested in the facts. Quite why you repeat discredited smears about our blog from Whaleoil's site is beyond me.

Talking of scum in general and politicians in particular I have just seen that the people of new Zealand have just given $500,000,000 to the Maoris under the 'Treelords' settlement. We have, in other words, yet again paid a bunch of backward tribalists for the 'sin' of establishing an industry and a civilisation here and supplying them with schools, hospitals etc and a benefit for life if they can't be bothered getting off the couch.

I, like many New Zealanders, I suspect, am totally against this stupidity, but even if one were to support this wholesale bribery and farce, how many of the actual dollars will ever find their way to any of the Maoris that constitute these so-called 'Iwis'?

When will this utter madness end? $500 MILLION dollars. F i v e - h u n d r e d - m i l l i o n - d o l l a r s.

Does anybody hear a voice of dissent about this wholesale plundering of our economy from any political party?
