After spending not a little amount of time on his blog, it is interesting/frightening how aloof he is from the mundane level of living under the thumb of Socialist policies. The ETS, the Welfare State, are just part of an academic exercise for him to kept the Left in power.
He doesn't recognise the destruction wrought by the Left, nor is he prepared to face up to answers. As here:

Note how he first attacks, but then when put with the facts again, and asked the question, never returns to it.
