- Japan votes in a landslide for privatisation of the postal service.
- Australia announces a major privatisation of telecommunications giant Telstra.
- The ruling socialists in Germany are soon to feel Angela Merkel's boot up their arse.
- In a week like this in which even Helen Clark says in a Leaders Debate that she is in favour of "maximising personal freedom as long as no one else's freedom is damaged," what could possibly happen next? Anyone like to make a guess? Isn't there something happening here on Saturday?

Koizumi's actions were heroic. If only our elected representatives had that much guts. Only a vote for the Libertarianz tomorrow can put such people in parliament.
Awesome week if you're Norwegian - the people of one of the richest nations in the world delivered a Labour/Greens government at the recent election, and chucked out their scary ex-priest leader, Kjell Magne-Bondevik.
Lets hope for some Labour/Greens goodness tomorrow!
