Quote of the day: “An infinite amount more where that came from”

“Most of the state’s wealth comes from ordinary people working hard and then giving a huge chunk of their income to the government, so spending it is a sacred trust not an endless opportunity to squander it all on gimmicks and whims and political stunts…”
           - Danyl at Dim Post - “An infinite amount more where that came from

  1. I would only add that in the context that it was written, the writer is absolutely for massive government spending and taxation, it's just these small but aggravating examples that get his goat.

  2. Let's hope that Maoris And Neanderthal Assholes take some meaningful numbers from the Greens..

..that Banks is a changed man (Hoping against hope I know)..

..and Brash can steer the ship a little further from the rocks.

  3. I think I have the answer:

  4. We dont give a huge amount of our earnings.A huge amount is stolen from us.All tax is theft.

  5. @stevemag ... lol ... imagine we spoke that way about common thieves and burglars. "I gave my cellphone to a mugger". "I gave my car to a thief". The most amazing con was the government convincing the masses that we're giving our money voluntarily.
