PC, why did the artist make the fallen hero in his painting as a black dude surrounded by white women rather than a white dude surrounded by black women?

What's the likely vision behind that? I am curious, since I am no artist myself.

PC, a very sly critique of the Herald headline which reads "Tiger scandal: How an American hero crashed to earth".
