If her interview with Paul Holmes this morning is any guide, Helen Clark is not at all happy with what she calls "right-wing bloggers," mentioning them at least four times in the short interview and even at one stage seeming to confuse Herald journalist Fran O'Sullivan for a "right-wing blogger" for having dared to suggest the days of the Clark Leadership are numbered-- "creative writing by right-wing blog writers" she calls any idea of a challenge to her leadership.
If Our Glorious Leader wasn't quite frothing at the mouth it was perhaps only because she wasn't asked about the hilarious news that Labour's pledge card on Trade Me attracted less than one-fifteenth the sum attracted on Bernard Darnton's still-ongoing and increasingly hilarious auction of the same card, and about one-twentieth of the interest.
Alas poor Labour. So much to pay. So little support.
UPDATE: Bernard Darnton discusses the auction and the latest increasingly surreal events around the pledge card misappropriation with ZB's Larry Williams. Audio here.

Clearly, H1 thinks the expression is less ridiculous than the "vast right wing conspiracy" label that the Left have held so dear.
It's probably not too far from reality, tho': H1 is losing the blogging battle, is losing the PR battle, and is getting thumped by the public.
Go the "right wing bloggers"!!!
Go even harder now.
Makes me feel like starting a 'right wing' blog just to get some recognition from the dictatorship.
So now H1 assumes that any one that speaks against her and her party is right wing? What the hell?
I am an expat Kiwi and have been living away from NZ for 12 years but will be returning soon. I have not voted for many years, but I will definitely be voting Helen Clark out next time. My last straw was when she apologized to Muslims over the Danish cartoons that were published in New Zealand. The newspapers in question had every right to publish what was news. By apologizing, she was censoring free speech and condoning radical Islam.
My biggest beef with New Zealand politics and western politics in general is with political correctness. All free speaking people are being censored by the politically correct that are now in control of schools, universities, and government departments, and are creeping elsewhere. Without free speech, we are no longer living in a democracy; we are living in a totalitarian state.
I know the National party has Wayne Mapp, the so-called political correctness eradicator, but does anyone really know much about this guy? Is he really going to do anything about political correctness and the nanny state that Clark has created?
No wonder Helen Clark is concerned about bloggers, it is the only media left now where free speech exists.
My blog and cartoon site “friedbrains.com” is dedicated to political correctness if anyone is interested.
Hi Tezza! I came home (NZ) 11 yrs ago after 12 yrs away and was horrified at how politically correct NZ was then, so for your sake I'm glad you're up with the current play. It'll lessen the shock!
Look forward to visiting your blog. But don't worry, nothing ever stays the same and I truly believe that these guys' days are numbered.
The fact that more and more people are starting to say what they think is a good sign.
You know what they say about an idea whose time has come!
Re Wayne Mapp & the Nats ... I wouldn't hold my breath even though I'm prepared to concede that they're not quite as wet as they recently were. They're still essentially NannyState lovers in spite of Don Brash.
Eg, Nick Smith's still there. I rest my case!
