Q: Do we really & truly have this much high-quality objective news reporting in this country?

Aside from the false presumption that impartiality (or being a centrist) equates to being "objective", and the widespread ambiguity around what 'Right' means, this doesn't seem too far off the mark for some of the media I know about. The National Business Review certainly deserves to be up the top somewhere, but unconvinced the Dom Post, ODT, and Listener should be higher. I'm also unconvinced that Whale Oil deserve to be so low.

I think it's almost impossible to separate your perception of what is 'quality' from your political views. I assume Edwards is a centrist, so he's going to have both Left and 'Right' disagree with his assessment.
