I'd guess the old medical / mental facility off SH1 on the back road to Palmerston North near Levin but suspect not since its so far away from Auckland.

Ah, right. But don't hold your breath about the dilapidation being remedied. I understand most of what's left is intended for demolition.
The project on which I'm working (a very exciting one, I might add) is not this one, but another just down the road.
