  1. There's that word 'confidence'...which may be known by more than one application.

  2. BTW If it is proposed that scientific use is meant, I say that is a response to the sally being Gored by the dictionary ( Being a scientist is not his major claim to fame ). Here is what I mean - an excellent example of Projection by alleging misrepresentation ( accuse others of what you are doing )

    Where it comes to promulgating and capitalizing upon carbon-climate-crazed sociopolitical pressure, you would be hard-pressed to find two better authorities.
