" see ourselves as others see us."

On a morning after a surprisingly difficult day before in Dunedin, it seems appropriate to look to a Scottish poet for solace; as from 'To A Louse':

O wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!

So, going from one lousy poet to another, here then is the self-declared next great Aussie bush poet with some cultural insights into New Zealand -- all the way from the Geebung RSL.
