QUOTE OF THE DAY: “The goal of today…”

_Quote "Politically, the goal of today’s dominant trend is statism. Philosophically, the goal is the obliteration of reason; psychologically, it is the erosion of ambition. The political goal presupposes the two others. The human characteristic required by statism is docility, which is the product of hopelessness and intellectual stagnation. Thinking men cannot be ruled; ambitious men do not stagnate.

  1. **Thinking men cannot be ruled; ambitious men do not stagnate.**

Which is why I don't really give a shit who runs the country. Whoever is in power will have policies I disagree with. They're all as incompetent/corrupt/moronic as each other regardless of party.

They do what they do, I do what I want.

As long as it causes no harm to others.

  2. I bet that Trevor Mallard hates that quote.

I have to say that Labour and National are both into statism, however, Labour is more deeper into it than National.
