Please do not throw stones at these signs

The Herald’s Sideswipe had the story last week of the little Romanian town that posted a road sign that either warns drivers of drunks crawling across the road.

…or else tells them that here would be a good place to stop for the night.

Anyway, The Sun has a slideshow of may more along the same lines.

 

Silly (they say), slightly silly, and at least one that’s truly surreal.  Mind you, there’s at least one or two that seem eminently sensible.

 

The Sun  swears they are all genuine.  Mind you, it’s The Sun, so they do swear an awful lot. Head there and check out the whole silly sign show.
