The Vertical Man – W.H. Auden

No art posts tonight, just a wee piece of poetry in a “tribute” that fits both Edward Kennedy and New Zealand’s “listening” Prime Minister John Boy Walton.

The Vertical Man

Let us honor if we can
The vertical man
Though we value none
But the horizontal one.
