This guy knows what time it is

I always said Oswald Bastable is a top bloke.  He knows precisely what political activism is all about, and what it's for. Which is more than I can say for many activists.

And I love his choice of table-top amusements.

  1. This is where I eat a bit of humble pie and recant some of my posts earlier. Oswald's post, linked to above, has FINALLY managed to explain things to me in a rational manner.

I do stand by my comments that getting Libertarian ideals across to Joe Public would be much easier if there was a cohesive effort to do so, and that the Libz suffer from the rantings of some supporters.

And for the record, I voted Libertarianz, as I saw it a more effective protest vote than one for Bill & Ben.

  2. "the Libz suffer from the rantings of some supporters"

You said it ann, whoever you are.

  3. the Libz suffer from the rantings of some supporters

Exactly. I voted Tim Wikiriwhi here in the Waikato, but I am a bit disappointed from some Libz rantings here at Not PC. They come as arrogant pricks and act like vultures, just waiting to attack some new commentators who likes to come & contribute here.

  4. am a bit disappointed from some Libz rantings here at Not PC.

It's nothing compared to the utter crap spouted by Lindsay Perigo & Co on SOLO, and Elijah Lineberry from NZ Capitalist.

Every time they encourage people to vote Libertarianz, they achieve exactly the opposite.

Thank you Ann and Amanda for your votes. Your comments re Libz marketing are appreciated.

  6. Richard, belated congratulations! Beaut effort .. we cheered loudly in Mt Eden when your result came through & raised glasses accordingly!

Hi Ann & Amanda .. great to hear new voices, and female to boot! Fab. Don't worry about a few niggles, here & there .. stick & stones and all that.

I put it down to male frailty, myself. One good, sharp period pain & they'd be out for the count!

Not that I'm one to collectivise, she said quickly, just in case Berend's lurking!! ;)

  7. exactly right sus, the all powerful hand of Berend is watching you. And trust me, you'd be rather watched by the state, lol.

  8. The funniest thing imaginable... a Libertarian government keeping an eye on people so they can clamp down on collectivism! "My Non-existant Deity, were those people just seen AGREEING with each other and working as a team? Damn communists!"

  9. I can do a lot of blogging on a little praise!

It makes it all worthwhile even if just ONE person 'gets it'

  10. "I can do a lot of blogging on a little praise!"

Haha, I know. Me too. :-)
