On the basis of that pathetic shambles of a performance, you'd have to say the All Blacks will be lucky to come third in this Tri Nations.
If you think of that as the final round of a job interview, Deans just aced it. Shame the bosses' incompetence meant he's already signed up for the other side. Henry and co just have to go; they couldn't coach a bloody darts team.
Frankly, the Mad Butcher could do a better job. Or even his mother.

I have to agree. If an U13 team played with that lack of structure I would be annoyed. The only place I have seen more holes than in the AB's midfield is my colander.
Let's face it. This AB stuff is over. They aint good enough and they are not about to be any time soon. Two take homes:
1/. Better off watching something better (like AFL) or the Tour.
2/. Perhaps (at last) Kiwis just might start paying attention to that which matters (and it isn't rugby)

Lgm - don't agree with you. New Zealanders are no more passionate about rugby than Italians are about soccer or French about losing wars. I think that you will find that most people know that it is, in the end, only a game. Don't let the six people who write sports opinion or ring sports talk radio.
The ABs are the team to beat and they will be for the foreseeable future. They played badly and got beaten. That is the shame. The loss the week before to the Boks was not so bad - they played quite well but a better side showed up.
They will come back. I am involved in Junior rugby and we produce a lot of talented rugby players - hell, they make up half the national teams in Europe and Japan after all.
I think one of the major problems was the lack of midfield defence. The gap between 2nd Five and Center was big enough to drive a truck through. Mind you, changing the combination every test is probably the cause of that.
I still have my AB flag flying though.
The ABs will have revenge comes Eden Park, next Saturday.
The boks won by virtue of a chip kick that bounced the right way.....pure luck and a get out of jail fluke....good for them.
The Aussies....well the Ab's were crap but no worse that the ref who missed a blatant tackle on Sitivatu without the ball that was a penalty try without question and can't police the Aussies illegal scrum and offside activities....
oh well theres always next week....

not any more.

Dream the fuck on. HC will turn up to watch: they will be cut to ribbons! If McCaw has the guts to play the Wallabies will break both his legs and smash Dan Carter out too. the ABs are fucked.

yeah. because as with anything else in NZ, if you want to play to win you don't do it here. You fuck of overseas where you're allowed to play and win and keep the rewards of your winnings. While in NZ, if you lose, well it doesn't matter. You still get the dole, you don't starve, no-one is ever thrown out on the street. And if you win, well you're not allowed to mention it and the government confiscates your winnings and gives it to bludgers.
At state schools, kids learn only 2 things: that everyone's a winner. and that the government pays for everything. You're not allowed to have winners and losers. That's what 10 years of Labour has done - and only now do we have a team of piss-weak so-called "AB"s who all grew up under Helen.
It's no surprise that the only World Cup NZ won was when Roger Douglas was finance minister. Only when the country was allowed to know how the real word works: that there are winners and losers, and winners get the winnings and the losers get kicked to the gutter - did the ABs realised this applied to them too.
Only when there is a big change of government and much else in NZ can we execpt the ABs to be feared around the rubgy world. Until then, forget it.
When will the NZRFU wake up and get rid of this stupid rule that prohibits the selection of overseas based players?
