I've noticed several times before the truth of Lindsay Perigo's observation that National's Nick Smith has "a fork in his tongue big enough to hug a tree with." See for example here, here, here and here.

Yeah, and by the marking on the tree, its a pine that has been tagged for felling - so the little shit is pretening to 'protect' a tree from 'death'. Or in more definitive terms, he values the natural over the manmade. Now where have I encountered that kind of pussy thinking before? The Green party perhaps....?
