Mini road-trip

No blogging yesterday because I was on a bit of a mini road-trip. Here's some of the evidence:

Bonus points for anyone who can identify the car.

Looks like an MG Midget.

The car is the red thing with wheels in front of the house.

Car identified, bonus points won.

MG Midget or Austin Healey Sprite.
(same car really, just different badges)

Excellent. Good to know there are at least two knowledgable readers here this morning. :-)

mk iii sprite or mk 2 midget around 1964-66. Same engine as a austin 1100 but warmed and with weber (?) carbs.

It's probablythe mG given the chrome bonnet strip and grille shape.

Given that the photo is entitled "Midget_visit.jpg", I think the answer is fairly self-evident. (How's the oil leak?) ;-)

Love the house - pity about the silly little Euro car in the driveway.

I'm going with Woolfie. Whatever it is it looks English, a byword for engineering and design travesty.

Detracts from the nice home behind it; get rid of it.
