New Game: How many can you abolish?

Here's a new game, proposed by Mike Heine at Act on Campus. He's come up with fifteen Ministers and their associated ministries, departments and real estate that coud face the chop without the world being any the poorer for their loss -- indeed, quite the reverse! -- and he's wondering if anyone might have a longer list.

Well Mike, I guess mine is bigger than yours...

You would abolish the Ministry of Justice? The Chief Electoral Office?

I think there may have been a few over-hasty inclusions (Justice, Defence, etc), but better too many abolitions than not enough, eh? :-)

Yeah, and the New Zealand Government is also on the list. But it does specify "the vast majority" could be abolished, not all of them.

It's safe to say we wouldn't miss anything that ends in "Development".
