Slainte!

It's been one of those weeks when only whiskey will do. And when only whiskey will do, the only whiskey that will do is Jameson's.

Slainte!

Talisker or Oban for me.

I think Aaron might have missed the significance of the whisky/whiskey distinction in this post, based on those two whisky preferences. No matter.

Agreed Pete, Slainte indeed. On a realted note, it seems that contrary to my scepticism about progress in Northern Ireland in an earlier comment, you knew something that I did not. Apologies. Of course, we won't know for sure for a while yet, but these latest developments are very encouraging.

Or *related* even.

I'very happy to drink Aaron's whisky at any time, however he chooses to spell it. :-)

And aren't the Irish developments encouraging -- that's worth a whiskey or six on its own. ;^)

The Jamesons or the Tullimore Dew are good, to be sure!

The stuff out of my still (while somewhat harsher) has the sweet taste of excise-free, non-govamint subsidising poteen!

It must be a virus, I took Jameson last night as well :-)

I trust all you gentlemen are fine this morning. Another of the virtues of drinking good whiskey, although Oswald's poteen sounds like it'd be worth a lash. :-)

OTOH, there's a lot to be said for waking up in the morning in your own bed, with someone you actually recognize sleeping next to you, your own car in the driveway, and a wallet full of cash. But hey, as long as the whiskey isn't causing any of you any adverse reactions from your family and friends, I say, "L'Chaim"!
