Lived in Melbourne for a while a couple of decades ago and travelled a lot by road from there as a base. Recognised the distinctive wharf building but couldn't place it. Also the setting sun has a certain light about it which you only see in high northern or southern latitudes like Melbourne or Hobart. The advantage of a quarter of a century at sea. And the carousel was a dead give away!
Curiosity had me image google searching but no luck. And should be no need... we were there briefly earlier this year. Not at all what I'd expected. Very English.
We welcome thoughtful disagreement. But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me. PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.

Who cares? Wherever it is, it's stunning and I wish I was there!
