Quote of the day: Bob Jones on Labour

“Most of all they should embrace the modern age and
recognise that social and economic salvation and
uplifting the underclass does not simplistically
lie in ever increasing taxes on the industrious
and thrifty and their transfer to the indolent.
There's nothing positive or progressive about that.”

- Bob Jones, ‘Cunliffe should man up and quit,’ NZ HERALD

  1. The rallying cry these days isn’t for the indolent but the children of the indolent. It appears as if the Statists have already written the feckless adults off. The welfare industrial complex has moved onto greener pastures.

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
