Taxes cost jobs

Amanda BillyRock says so.

  1. The example I use is two neighboring farms with crops that need to be harvested at different times, for years the farmers help each other out. Then the accountant tells farmer 'A' he must now put a dollar value on the help he receives and the help he gives and pay tax on it. They stop helping each other. In this way, everyday, in a billion different circumstances people are dissuaded from helping each other.

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
