    Does such a building belong in Scotland? I guess you have to make the most use of what sunlight you get up there.

    Peter, on re-reading your post I sense that you approve of this building. On visiting this building a few years ago must say I did not get the same feeling as you. The front entranceway looked god-damned awful with what appears to be cane protruding from the ground to the top of the glass entrance, impeding the view through the glass facade at the front of the building - and the layout was not what I think leads you through the building. However I am not really qualified to comment on building design and just just give my impressions.
