New lib blog

New blog added to the blogroll: A Neo-Jacobin, a "London-born, free Englishman. Free to say anything and free to go anywhere. A libertarian, arguing for a world that's fit for us humans to live in."

Hat tip ... well, she always gets coy when she's mentioned on the front page.

  1. I couldn't care less if you mention me or not.

Courtney is way removed from most you link to:

"Duncan Smith seems to be far happier discussing 'dysfunctionality' in working class homes, and how such homes breed delinquent children. It's becoming very fashionable for our political elites to portray working class people as drug addicted football hooligans, who sponge off the dole, or who waste what little money they do have on crass materialism. This year alone the rhetoric has become markedly vulgar and crude, witness the 'Tosser' campaign relating to personal debt".

Does that not remind you of your good pal Lindsay Mitchell - to whom the poor and the solo mother are the lowest forms of life? Also most other conservatives who seem to think household debt is bad?

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
