Today’s quote comes courtesy of Alex Epstein:
A brilliant but unwilling-to-be-named friend of mine had the following discussion with a Republican (!) opponent of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
* Opponent: I’m against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
* Friend: Why?
* Opponent: Because I believe in respecting the sacred traditions of the area.
* Friend: You realise that the sacred traditions you’re talking about include the belief that a certain dance
move elicits rain....

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
