In the realm of social media disasters—and, although I never thought I’d ever write these words, this could be an important social media disaster—this is a big one.
Clearly advised by the same people as BFF-to-the-dictators George Galloway, Hamas have launched a 5-day Twitter campaign to clear up “misconceptions” and “misinformation” about its activities.
On the one hand, it’s been an outrageous success, the hashtag reaching more than 170,000 accounts, according to Tweet analysis site Tweetreach.
