Untrained and unaware of the great game of Australian football (hard to believe, but true), nonetheless in his 1908 painting ‘The Football Players’ Henri Rousseau is clearly striving towards depicting the great game.
If only someone could have vouchsafed him a ticket to a game. There’d be a lot less prancing about in his canvas.

But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.

Quite clearly this is not AFL, it is more likely FFL because the mincers look like they will surrender at any moment
