Technology for the win
"At the start of the 20th century, people not having enough food was a major problem (much more so than today). "Fritz Haber proposed a technological solution.
The technological solution was so successful, that at the start of the 21st century a more common problem (for health) is people having too much food. And unfortunately there are people still proposing political solutions to that that too.
We welcome thoughtful disagreement. But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me. PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
