We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
Yes. There's also a contingent who say they believe in freedom, but it's not primarily because freedom allows them to make themselves happy, but because they want a weapon to make politicians they don't like suffer.
ReplyDeleteThe two aren't mutually exclusive. Sometimes making yourselves happy requires politicians to suffer. But you know there's something's wrong when the suffering of the politicians becomes more important than their own happiness.
