Correction: The pause

I need to correct an error in something I posted on Monday.

In criticising Dim Post’s warmist dimness, I said

Droughts, floods, storms, hurricanes … none have shown any increase as atmospheric CO2 has risen (although both plant growth and plants’ tolerance to drought have), and global temperatures themselves have stopped rising for 18 years.

This is incorrect. For which I apologise.

In fact, despite “one-third of Man’s entire influence on climate since the Industrial Revolution having occurred since January 1997,” global temperatures have now stopped rising for 18 years and 8 months.

Thank you for your time.

Now, back to your normal programming.

  1. What is worrying is the speculation that debate will be criminalised - you will have to like it or shut up - prosecution will await the dissenters. When nature doesn't play ball the bad guys still win. Man is fundamentally good my arse.

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
