Reminds me of Michael Pollan's wonderful book "A Place of my Own" which develops into a scathing critique of post-modern architecture.
It's not often I have wanted to copy someone else's building in my own back yard but in this case it was driven by the experience of repeating the actual experience of this design and build miniature gem.
with the cabin porn series it was good, but I wish we could get a one page photo page print of all the porno cabins so we could just press onto our pick, still looking for porno NZ cabins, hope you are going well Owen McShane, you sure had one good cabin
We welcome thoughtful disagreement. But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me. PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.

Damn you, lost an hour.
ReplyDeleteI love so many of these. Indeed, I've been looking at lots of baches and 'cabins' lately. Starting to be an itch that needs to be scratched.
Deliverance reborn.
