The designer you treat like shit . . .

There’s a hilarious email exchange doing the rounds between a graphic designer and a client who wants him to work for free.

Read it here: "Please design a logo for me. With pie charts. For free."

I’d like to think it were all true.

    You have to be a designer to know that this is not a joke - and it is not an unusual occurrence.

    Not a week goes by without a request of this type.

    I think I may start answering such requests with pie charts

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
