I've just returned from helping some very special clients move into their freshly renovated California Bungalow in Mt Eden. Very satisfying.
Naturally, given the sodden winter, there's still a few things to complete, mostly outside, but here's a wee peek inside from the new kitchen.
We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.

ReplyDeleteInteresting how the dropped ceiling over the benchtop makes the kitchen ceiling seem much higher, although it's very hard to work out scale from that picture. Is it about 2100 high?? The stain on the timber (radiata?) makes it look a bit purply but otherwise very slick piece of work, PC. Not exactly to my tastes with all the extraneous timberwork but the contrast with the stark white walls does work.

Yes, the ceiling deck is about 2100. I prefer to use something a little lower (every mm helps), but clients are always so timid. :-)
