A question for this morning

Q: Am I the only one who gets heartily sick of politics being reported as a sporting contest rather than by an analysis of what is actually being said and done to us?

  2. A: No.

That's why I stopped watching TV news; I keep yelling at the TV.

  3. No. But try and take some advice and become part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Hate filled invective establishing that (a) National is Evil, and (b) John Key is Evil, provides no particular insight or analysis to political problems.

Also suggesting solutions to said political problems that aren't grounded in any sort of political reality and are therefore useless tends to short-circuit any influence you may have.

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
