Intolerable allegations

Steve at Vigesimal Pundit has it exactly right with this short post:
"Allegations of corruption are intolerable in a Western liberal democracy." - Helen Clark.

No, Miss Clark. Corruption is intolerable. When allegations of corruption are intolerable, it's no longer a Western liberal democracy.
Exactly right.

    Indeed, PC. Accusing someone of being corrupt isn't against to western democracy. it is the corruption that is against western democracy. It is an attempt at justice. Clearly Clark does not understand that justice is, as Ayn Rand said, treating people as they deserve to be treated based on their actions and how they are.

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
