Penalties

Did anybody watch the final of the World Penalty Kick Championships?

Did anyone ever really seriously suggest that as a model for finding the winner of the Rugby World Cup?

    My opinion, for what it's worth, is that they should take the penalties BEFORE extra time.

    Actually, the rugby world cup does have a dropkick competition to determine a winner a the end of final games where the score it tied.

    But there's a reason, isn't there, that the Rugby World Cup doesn't become the World Drop Goal Championships, isn't there?

    You know, something to do with it being a game in which points are often scored? ;^)
