Malapropisms

Not wanting to cast nasturtiums, but some of you peeps really need to tow the line with your spelling and grandma. It doesn't auger well. However, I can send you to a place that can help.

The Eggcorns Database has a full list of malapropisms -- in lame man's terms 'eggcorns' -- that can help you avoid those embarrassing trite and true verbal slips. Alimentary errors. You could really go at it hammer and thongs if you wanted to.

Good luck.

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane or off topic. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
