I wonder if that was a study for The Kiss. There are certainly similarities, such as the, umm, kissing. Don't spose you know do you?
ReplyDeleteI think it was of a piece with The Kiss, but it was a piece in its own right. It's hard to see The Kiss for its own virtues now -- like Michaelangelo's David it's almost become a cliche with over over-appearance in the oddest places -- but this one is much more dynamic; I find The Kiss a little less, um, dynamic. :-)
