'We need to bring sanity back!' 'Those Tea Party people are mental midgets!' 'Derp! Derpy! Derp-derp-derp!' Indeed.

So... just so I have this straight... The people who are carrying signs quoting everyone from Friedman, to Rand, to Hayek, to Sowell, to Adam Smith are the morons? And the people chirping knowingly about economics, daily hailing the amazing effects of stimulus, but with no idea who Keynes is, are waddling with the obesity of their smartness?

Okay then. Got it.

@Falafulu:

I read that post. That individual is quite a card. It's always fun to read someone who rebuts a doctrine by ascribing ideas to the doctrine that the doctrine rejects, then just smacking down those ideas instead. I'm sure there must be a term for that particular fallacy, but I'm not sure what it is. :/American Extremistnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11906042.post-40894757331397981172010-11-03T19:24:12.174+13:002010-11-03T19:24:12.174+13:00Funny video. Islam performed at Jon Stewart’s Rally for Sanity on Saturday, and Rushdie says that he was disappointed. “I spoke to Jon Stewart about Yusuf Islam’s appearance,” he says. “He said he was sorry it upset me, but really, it was plain that he was fine with it. This shows how uneducated, ignorant & idiot the population is (generally in all countries).

One local idiot blogger/commentator is Martyn Bomber. A blogger who has frequently made comments on the internet/newsmedia (on Kiwiblog, TV3), how Milt Friedman's economics doctrines have brought havoc to western economies over recent years. If this idiot understands that it has been the disastrous Keynesian economic policies of today are to be blamed and not the Friedman's economics doctrines.

If someone had asked the same question to Martyn Bomber if Obama is a Kenyan or Keynesian, he would have answered exactly in the same manner shown by ignorants/idiots that were interviewed in the Stewart’s Rally for Sanity video above.Falafulu Fisinoreply@blogger.com
