As a vollutnary extra to the school curriculum it is only those who are already "indoctrinated" that participate. So it functions more as a place where students can act on the beliefs that they already have. Is that still strictly speaking negative?Shullyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13081333341634201960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11906042.post-13412692352362787212009-07-01T11:25:10.208+12:002009-07-01T11:25:10.208+12:00Interesting thought that, Jeff. You're right: the Nazis goose-stepped, whereas today's greenies worship the bloody geese.

It's all about "the greater good", eh. All hail to the great collective with individuals, by definition, subservient to the collective.

I believe it's essential to continue to point out the correlation between environmentalism & *fascism*. Calling these guys "fascist" is the worst insult one can bestow.

Time to do lots of it, eh.Susnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11906042.post-29233926492533134012009-07-01T10:42:42.525+12:002009-07-01T10:42:42.525+12:00Apart from such superficial issues as the type of ...Apart from such superficial issues as the type of salute, if there's a difference between this and the Hitler Jugend program, I can't discern it.

Well, I suppose there is one difference, which makes these thugs even lower than the Nazis: the National Socialists at least wanted Germans to "be strong." That "strength" was militaristic, racist, and generally insane, but I suppose it's at least a perverted form of attempting to thrive. This time around the collectivists are all about surrender and self-abasement.
