Physicists & Neuro-scientists have established, in a number of research publications over the last decade or so. Here are some recent ones:

- The Human Brain Is On The Edge Of Chaos (ScienceDaily article for general public)

- Broadband Criticality of Human Brain Network Synchronization (original research paper which the ScienceDaily article above is based on)

- Consciousness related neural events viewed as brain state space transitions

Even when the brain is not awake but sleeping, SOC mechanisms is still at work.

- Self Organized Criticality as a new paradigm of sleep regulation

The brain has no central command & control parts (or group of neurons). Its activities (neuronal network information exchanges amongst each one is purely self organized). The neurons in the brain is leaderless, their interactions are not directed or organized by a single neuron( the big boss) prime minister, president or dictator . Neurons simply know how to run or organize their activities by themselves.

This simply means that the brain vast networks of neurons interact in a libertarian type environment. Everything is spontaneous according to Hayek.Falafulu Fisinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11906042.post-1988746181051370702012-04-19T12:37:25.551+12:002012-04-19T12:37:25.551+12:00@ Falafulu Fisi:

WHY? He's a Keynesian, but SOS and specifically is sub-domain SOC (self-organized-criticality) is Hayekian. The Hayekian, spontaneous order is in fact a SOC mechanism.

So, Krugman believe that society is a SOS or SOC, but he preaches the opposite of state interference in the economy, which is central command rather than (non-command) self organized by the system components.Falafulu Fisinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11906042.post-84634175187762231202012-04-19T09:59:00.370+12:002012-04-19T09:59:00.370+12:00At least now it is very very clear what Christchur...At least now it is very very clear what Christchurch voters need to do at the next election if rebuild does not pick up.
