The RBNZ would then print money as a counter to Labour’s economically damaging policies. Hence house prices would rise strongly during a Labour govt while real wages fall.<br /><br />The funny thing is with this worse than useless Key & the National government has promoted the RBNZ to spent the last 30 months printing money, thereby creating forward demand & surpressing wages exactly as if NZ had a Labour govt. The RBNZ will have to turn the tap off at some stage otherwise the inflation genie will get out of its bottle.<br /><br />This leaves NZ in a very interesting position. By time Slient T makes PM the RBNZ wont be able to do the ususal print to mask Slient T’s poverty creating Jerusalem build. If NZ is to maintain a low inflation enviornment then the economy under Slient T is going to take a double hit.Simonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11906042.post-68290650843701214262013-08-28T20:47:25.094+12:002013-08-28T20:47:25.094+12:00Maybe it's both?Maybe it's both?Peter Cresswellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699845031503699181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11906042.post-56656844595739898372013-08-28T20:29:41.262+12:002013-08-28T20:29:41.262+12:00Actually he looks remarkably like you Peter, so pe...Actually he looks remarkably like you Peter, so perhaps your description of him is less cheap ad hominem than symptomatic of some deep self-loathing.Judge Holdennoreply@blogger.com
