Aside from the false presumption that impartiality (or being a centrist) equates to being "objective", and the widespread ambiguity around what 'Right' means, this doesn't seem too far off the mark for some of the media I know about. The National Business Review certainly deserves to be up the top somewhere, but unconvinced the Dom Post, ODT, and Listener should be higher. I'm also unconvinced that Whale Oil deserve to be so low.
I think it's almost impossible to separate your perception of what is 'quality' from your political views. I assume Edwards is a centrist, so he's going to have both Left and 'Right' disagree with his assessment.
We welcome thoughtful disagreement. But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me. PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
