Answer: I was in Castlecrag, NSW, looking at the homes and subdivision designed by Walter Burley Griffin and his wife Marion Mahoney Griffin, after winning the competition to design Canberra. The Griiffins worked for Frank Lloyd a Wright in Chicago before winning and emigrating, and their employee Frank Lippincott won the competition to design the clock tower, and designed several buildings around Auckland. And I ended up spending most of the day with a lovely lady who owns one of the houses, who needed advice on repairs. A great opportunity to really explore one if these small masterpieces. Not Number 12, though. Number 4.
