Perigo on the telly
Lindsay Perigo appears here on the “baby boomer” show The Beat Goes On to discuss life, love, grammatical excellence, and his latest book One Tenor: A Salute to Mario Lanza.
Always nice to see Mr. Perigo on TV, and so honestly emotional about the joy Lanza brings him. It was sad, but understandable to see he feels the battle is lost in terms of the ideology of freedom, but then I can relate. It's always felt like an uphill battle, and these days it seems like the slope is approaching ninety degrees.
We welcome thoughtful disagreement. But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me. PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.

ReplyDeleteThanks for putting Lindsay on - it's good to see him looking so well. That's a beautiful song.
