The Black Power gang has lodged a Treaty claim with the Waitangi Tribunal "saying gangs exist because of colonisation." And of course, they're right. If not for colonisation there wouldn't be gang warfare, would there, there'd be tribal warfare.
Is that what they're complaining about?

Given that 'black' has gone the same way as 'negro' - Lord knows why - shouldn't they be African-American Power?
The fact that they're neither shouldn't matter as they've never even been black in the first place ...
Always a bit of sport to throw the cat amongst the pigeons. A black cat, of course! ;)
Yeah, it's ironic, isn't it, that at best they're only a light beige -- and that the "Black Power" moniker itself is something they borrowed from offshore.
