The casual ease which some people move from finding something offensive to wishing to declare it criminal - and are then able to find factions within government to aid their ambitions - is truly depressing.Story here [hat tip Eric Olthwaite].

ReplyDeleteLoved that the photo on the linked story was Little Britain's Matt Lucas in character as 'the only gay in the village'. Certainly needs to be in prison - not for 'hate speech', but for crimes against fashion and not actually being very funny.

ReplyDeleteAtkinson here his talking about "Hate Speech", but it could just as easily apply to the vile Democracy Rationing legislation.
Some people find what the Exclusive Brethren did offensive. No problem with that, people can be offended with whatever they want. But to then ban citizens from communicating with each other for a third of their lives - Nein Danke.
