Personnel pillocks

Insolent Prick insolently and deservedly attacks people who work in Personnel, or 'HR' as they pretentiously call it these days. The late Helen Tippett, who knew a thing or two about management herself, used to remind we students that 'people are not a resource, they're an asset.' But I digress:
There may be, in some dark corner of Mogadishu, an errant HR person who is not following the rules, and has somehow understood their true purpose in life: to serve the organisation and people that they work for. I just haven't met such a person.
Me either (well, maybe one). Good weekend reading.

We welcome thoughtful disagreement.
But we do (ir)regularly moderate comments -- and we *will* delete any with insulting or abusive language. Or if they're just inane. It’s okay to disagree, but pretend you’re having a drink in the living room with the person you’re disagreeing with. This includes me.
PS: Have the honesty and courage to use your real name. That gives added weight to any opinion.
